NO Dope Express Foundation Signs On To Songz For Peace To Assist Trey Songz & Noonie Ward in Their Efforts To Put An End To The Violence Chicago IL)-July 7 2008- On August 5, 2008 at Lindblom High School, Trey Songz and Noonie G. Ward will hold a panel and free event as an attempt to save our children.
As August 5th quickly approached, many sponsors and celebrities join forces to support a worthy cause. Dr Earl B King is one of many to step up and offer his expertise on such a worthy cause. As the chairman of the NO Dope Express Foundation, he has devoted his time to combating causes such as this.
His foundation along with Cook County has stepped up and will be offering jobs, health screening and much more on location. Violence in Chicago is at an all time high, with our youth being the target victims and assailants. The Entertainment Community has come forward in order to make a difference in the lives of our youth. All guests will receive gift bags courtesy of our sponsors as well as school supplies and giveaways. Songz for Peace will include performances by Adero Neely, Ben One, Phoenix Phenom, Tha Pope, Vi & Trey Songz; as well as appearances by Quentin Richardson, Eddie Curry, Jackie Long, and Maestro Harrell. The event will be hosted by Twista and comedian Shawn Morgan, and a host of other celebrity panelists and guests.
