Kevin In the song He's Been Good to me you talked about not being able to see and you told a testimony. How close to home is this song for you?

That's a great question that i get asked all the time. The song "he's been good" along with it's testimony lives with me...it is a true story of some of the test that God has taken me thru and brought me out of. One day when I was about 12 years old i was sitting in church and all of sudden my vision begin to get blurry. I didn't know what was wrong and i begin to panic. Every second that went by my vision became less and less clear. I began to pray and the situation cleared up, but that wasn't the end of it. For many years after i experienced vision loss due to extreme migrane headaches that came upon me suddenly. Sometimes i would be driving or at school and one would hit and my vision would be impaired for hours at a time, until one day i asked God for complete and total healing and at that moment he answered my prayers. I have been completley healed for over 10 years now and I give God all the glory. Growing up i felt as if i would miss out on so much because of the ongoing issue, but God is faithful and remains a healer to this day.

What is the ministry you want to share with your listeners?

At what moment did you decide to share your experience through song?

The core of my ministry is encouragement and edification of non believers and believers. One of my main focuses is to reach the lost...those who don't have an experience with Christ. I choose to share different stories from my life so that others can relate and be encouraged. I love to encourage people to be themselves and to do what God has called them to do....i call it "do you". There is nothing more liberating than to be doing what you've been called to do. I've been criticized alot over the years for the style of music i do but i know it's what God has called me to do to reach people where they are at. I've always wanted to share my testimony thru song but it was about 6 years ago when i started to let the guards down and become transparent. I feel if i can help someone by sharing my testimony then i must do so.
