Nashville, TN: Bishop Neil C. Ellis is known within the ministry as one who can touch and change lives, influencing many within the Body of Christ all across the globe. Following the commandment of Psalm 149:1, “Sing unto the Lord a new song,” Bishop Ellis along with the Mount Tabor Praise & Worship Ministry presents “Wave of Glory” (Tehillah Music Group/Light Records) in stores now.
Bishop Neil C. Ellis has certainly experienced the glorious “wave” of blessings; as the miracle birth of his parents to the challenge of losing his voice to a vocal chord injury. Bishop Ellis a year later, has re-gained his voice and continued defying odds and confounding the enemy which has proved to be a recurring theme in his life.
Determined to live within God’s glory, Bishop Ellis organized Mount Tabor Union Baptist Church in February 1987 with only thirteen members. Since that time, God has blessed the work of this faithful servant tremendously. With over 7000 members, Mount Tabor (now Full Gospel Baptist Church) is the largest body of believers in the Bahamas and remains one of the country’s fastest growing churches.
The upward ‘wave’ for Bishop Neil C. Ellis is far from over as he demonstrates with his first recording. “Music is the coming of angels: Our duty is to spread the message of His love not only to people in our congregations, but also to others around the world,” says Ellis. “This is a major part of the reason why I am excited about this project and about what God is doing in the kingdom in this season. This live praise and worship project is filled with 16 anointed songs such as “Command My Soul”, “Let Your Kingdom Come” and the title track and impending single, “Wave of Glory”. Bishop Ellis also exhorts his ‘Wave of Glory’ message where he shares how “God is getting ready to supersede in your life.” He exclaims, “Get ready for a wave of glory…get the devil angry and give God the glory”. The album also features label-mate and Presiding Bishop for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, Bishop Paul S. Morton with “Don’t Do It Without Me”.
