So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Heb.3:19

Without faith, it is impossible to please GOD(Heb.11:6). That means that GOD finds displeasure in our not having faith in HIM, not because we're not able to or don't have the ability to believe no matter where we might find ourselves, but the exact opposite: HE's given us everything we need to believe and be able to trust in HIM. The only thing HE can't or won't give us is the desire to. We have to want that for ourselves.

Have you ever wondered why you can go to church sometimes and see people getting and receiving from GOD, lost in HIM, even though our flesh may sometimes want to believe that it's fictitious and that folks can be or are overdoing it(it does happen), but you're not getting or receiving from HIM as well? It could be as simple a matter as unbelief. You see, there are 3 different types of individuals that come to church in terms of belief, and please stick with us, because we are going to get you to a place in HIM and show you some very vital revelation that you need. The first type of individual, Individual A, comes to church focused on, despite what may or may not be going on with them, meeting GOD there and offering to HIM and receiving from HIM. Individual A is determined, regardless of what the enemy attempts to throw at them, to get into the presence of GOD because they believe that what they need they will find there, whether they recognize what the need is or not.

They've come to appreciate the importance of being where GOD is and finding HIM there. The second type of individual, Individual B, allows their belief to become distracted; they've become entangled with the affairs of this life(II Tim.2:4). Every Sunday or midweek service that takes place, there is something that has either been building over time or a sudden attack that causes them to lose sight of why they're going where they are and what they're supposed to do when they get there. Individual B can have their belief restored once their focus is, and then receive from GOD, but must be careful; the thief cometh not but for to kill, still, and destroy(John 10:10), and what more precious a prize than to steal the one thing you can not please GOD without...your faith. The last individual is Individual C, who doesn't believe at all, or who just stopped believing, and thinks that they're ok just because they are present. Unlike Individual B, who's belief can be turned during the course of service, Individual C sits and does not receive and thereby can not utilize the information GOD is giving.

Ok, let's pull it all together. Our scripture text gives us to know that the Children of Israel, of whom the text is making mention, could not enter in because of unbelief. They could not inherit the promised possession of GOD because of their unbelief. What's different from today? You can't possess the promise of where there are two or more gathered together in HIS name, there HE will be in the midst if you don't believe? How can you possess the promise that no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper if you don't believe? How can you grasp the promise of the fullness of joy that is in the presence of GOD if you can't enter into HIS presence? Ahh...entrance in necessitates belief.

While Individual A has absolutely no problem receiving from GOD and getting into HIS presence because they believe, Individuals B can't enter in until they get back to believing and Individual C can't get into GOD's presence at all because the belief is not there. We fail to realize that GOD can put us in a place to receive, but we still miss out because we haven't put ourselves in a place to receive within that place. To make it plain, once GOD adjusts our position, it's up to us to make the necessary adjustments in the aftermath of GOD moving in order to receive from HIM. Example: our text talks about the Children of Israel, who while

GOD adjusted their position by bringing them out of Egypt, they themselves refused to adjust and that generation failed to receive from GOD what He promised.

GOD has a problem with our not being blessed. Look at the two verses prior to our text. GOD was grieved with a people, on whom HIS name had been placed, who wandered in the wilderness longer than they had to all because when GOD put them in position to receive, they did not put themselves in position to receive(Heb.3:17 & 18). There is a work to be done on our part when it comes to receiving from

GOD and it starts with belief; faith necessitates works(James 2:26).

There are some things that GOD does to help feed our faith and bring it out of a stage of infancy. These things may not require any or much faith of us at all. But once we grow, there are things we can't receive from or even do for GOD without faith. You can get on your knees and pray, but you won't enter into the presence of GOD without believing(Heb.11:6). There is a difference. Your destiny, your healing, your ministry, your giftings, your blessings, your deliverance, your glory can not be entered into unless there is first belief on your part. GOD has made HIS adjustment; it's time you make yours.

There are things that belong to you that you won't have or possess or enter into...

...until you believe.

GOD bless...
