"Gas Too High Comedy Tour" coming to a city near you featuring $4 admission price reflecting the national average per regular gallon of gas.

Christian Comedian Akintunde has banned together with several Christian Comedy headliners, churches, venues, and media outlets to bring some comic relief to Americans hit with rising gas prices. Instead of the average price range of $20 - 45 per ticket for last summer's popular, "It's Time 2 Laugh Christian Comedy Tour", ticket prices on the "Gas Too High Comedy Tour" will reflect the average price per regular gallon of gas in each individual market (national average $4). The tour is designed to bless people hit with increases on all financial fronts with a night of healing laughter at an extremely low ticket price. The tour is set to launch on July 5th in Washington D.C. at The Sanctuary Church. "There is no way we could deliver this ticket price without the total cooperation of everyone involved. When people found out what we were attempting, they immediately got on board."

He originally planned to launch his second national tour in the Fall of 2008 under the title "The Heavy Hitters of Comedy", but after gas prices skyrocketed reaching $115 per barrel, he moved up the launch to summer and changed the title.
The tour line up will feature Akintunde and 2008 Heavy Hitter Christian Comedy Competition winner, Rod Z. Along with special guest, Small Fire, Horace “HB” Sanders, Broderick Rice, Joey I.L.O, Marcus D. Wiley, Mike Washington, and (Heavy Hitters 1st and 2nd Runner Up) Lady Jae and Stephon joining them on various dates . Radio personality Tony Gee will serve as tour DJ. The tour will feature education from enviromental engineer, Dr. Samuel Darco on how we can do our part to lower fuel consumption and leave less of an overall foot print on the earth.The purpose of the tour is to offer cash strapped families an affordable entertainment alternative, while at the same time, providing much needed education on our effects on the enviroment.

"The Gas Too High Comedy Tour" will also mark the release of Akintunde's "Gas 2 High Remix", which is already being played on various radio stations nationwide.
