Grammy Winner’s Condo Project Shines Spotlight on Affordable, Luxury Housing in Brookhaven
This Thursday morning, October 2, 2008, at 9:00 a.m., will be the grand opening of The LIGHT at Brookhaven.
CeCe Winans will introduce to Atlanta her inspiration for affordable housing—a condominium community built on the guiding principles of her life—fellowship, family and the power of personal belief. The LIGHT at Brookhaven invites prospective homeowners to share those values in one location—a 17-story complex, offering gorgeous one-bedroom and two-bedroom condominium homes at the apex of Brookhaven and Buckhead, two of Atlanta’s most sought-after neighborhoods. The LIGHT at Brookhaven will be Ms. Winans home away from home in Atlanta. She’s been so inspired and energized by this project that she has brought in an interior designer who is working to give the public areas of the building that special CeCe Winans touch!
What sets The LIGHT at Brookhaven apart is Ms. Winans’ desire to share the light of her goodwill with others in hope that they will be inspired to share their collective goodwill throughout Atlanta. First-time home buyers may qualify for down payment assistance, in the form of grants that through a foundation established by Ms. Winans. Those grants will not have to be paid back!
Against the backdrop of a national housing crisis, Ms. Winans says she decided, “I could help people affected by the housing downturn by working to provide them with beautiful, affordable homes in a comfortable, nurturing environment.” The LIGHT at Brookhaven offers such an environment for those buyers looking for more—a richer, deeper involvement with their neighbors and in their community.
