About the Author:
Adrienna Turner has been reading Christian and spiritual self-help books since 1999. She was uplifted and inspired by books written by Joyce Meyer, Michelle Hammond McKinney, T.D. Jakes, and many others. One day during a sermon in church, the Holy Spirit touched her to write a book called The Day Begins with Christ. Shortly after, God gave Adrienna other titles for upcoming spiritual books: Unleashing the Spirit; Counsel Me Lord to be a Vessel for Christ; Miss the Mark Series (Urban Christian fiction); and Desire at Will: Giving all the Glory to God through Prayer, Praise, and Worship -- Let it Overflow!
Adrienna has written her first publications through Author House formerly known as 1st Books: The Mystery Lies Within, May 2004; From the Depths of My Soul: Collection of Poetry and Songs, Gospel/Religious Version, September 2005; and Half of the Battle is to Surrender all I Have, July 2008.
Adrienna has a Bachelors Degree in Information Resources/Technology and a Masters Degree in Library of Information Science. She also participates in law training seminars through CLEO (Council for Legal Education Opportunity) and plans to pursue a law degree in the near future.
Adrienna is also a former member of ALA (American Library Association), LITA (Library Information Technical Association) and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Additionally, she volunteered with youth based programs and faith- based organizations in Milwaukee, WI during 1999- 2006. She would someday love to open her own non- profit organization called "Dream in Paradise" for children and young adults to display their God-given talents to the world through media, TV, radio, and online/print magazines.
