I am writing you to ask for your support in an effort to raise $250.000.00 for 12 Black Colleges. In these very tough economic times, it is becoming even more difficult for students to receive financial assistance.

The HBCUs, who have traditionally faced limited funding, will have even less to offer their students. Let's do what we can, to help these students who truly deserve a chance to attend their HBCU of choice.

The 2009 HBCU Black History Calendar sells for $5.99 and serves as Educational Fundraiser with partial proceeds going to the HBCU schools that are featured. The calendar20include s awesome biographies of President elect Barack Obama, along with other great African Americans. The black facts on the calendar dates such as when slavery was abolished to Vanessa Williams becoming the first Black Miss America to Founders Day for the Nine Greek Organizations will make you proud of the collective contributions from African American people.

The calendar makes great Christmas gifts and is sold exclusively at Walgreens stores across the country or can be purchased on- line @ www.blackhistoryhbcucalendar.com. Please forward this email to a friend!
Thank you!!!!!
