Robert E. Person: This year has been a great year for Robert E. Person. Last summer, the gospel crooner released his third CD, Soul Sanctuary. The project’s lead single, “Someday We’ll All Be Free”, a remake of the Donny Hathaway classic, has been embraced by radio and soared up the Mediabase charts. With appearances including the Library of Congress, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Dedication, Rejoice In The Word on the WORD Network and Babbie’s House, 2011 shaped up to be a great year for the award-winning singer. He will be closing out the year with a Birthday Celebration Concert on Monday, December 26th at 7:30PM at the H Street Playhouse (1365 H Street, NE, Washington, DC). Tickets for the birthday bash can be purchased by going to Person’s website at www.RobertEPerson.com.

Theresa Pinkney: Destiny for some is a direct route. For others, there are twists and turns. Theresa Pinkney would fall in category of the latter, but with the voice of an angel and a pure love for God, destiny delayed is not destiny denied. Gospel artist Theresa Pinkney recently released her 15-track CD entitled Me Against The World. From Gifts of the Spirit Music, the project is the psalmist’s debut into the gospel music industry. Already capturing the ear of gospel music fans and industry folks alike, Pinkney brings a sincerity and sweetness that is rarely witnessed in today’s artists. Although she is a new voice in gospel music, she carries a captivating soprano, a passion for ministry and a desire for God to touch the world through her.
