My Recap of Joyful Noise: Queen Latifah & Dolly Parton

"It's Like I waited my hold life for this one night"

Now some may say it is an updated version of Sister Act and the list could go on... But I enjoyed this film ..
Personally it felt uplifting and inspiring in alot of ways. Now there was a sceen when the boy was speaking in tongues that threw me for a loop.. I wonder what was the thought process behind the scenes and what happen in the room for the final edits you know the interviewing side always comes out..

It was nice to see a new face Jeremy Jordan who I think is now on broadway doing plays .. He was cutting up on the revise of Usher song "Hey" I wonder how does Usher feel hearing his song rearrranged for the film

Here is a look a the film go see it and tell me what you thought about it..

review from Warner
Oscar® nominees Queen Latifah (“Chicago,” “Hairspray”) and Dolly Parton (“Transamerica,” “Steel Magnolias,” “Nine to Five”) star in Alcon Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Joyful Noise,” a funny and inspirational story of music, hope, love and renewal.

The small town of Pacashau, Georgia, has fallen on hard times, but the people are counting on the Divinity Church Choir to lift their spirits by winning the National Joyful Noise Competition. The choir has always known how to sing in harmony, but the discord between its two leading ladies now threatens to tear them apart. Their newly appointed director, Vi Rose Hill (Latifah), stubbornly wants to stick with their tried-and-true traditional style, while the fiery G.G. Sparrow (Parton) thinks tried-and-true translates to tired-and-old.
