Chicago, IL (Wednesday, July 10) — World renowned bassist Asa ‘Ace’ Livingston continues a legacy of crafting timeless music via a new forthcoming album titled MY METAMORPHOSIS released exclusively through Central South Distribution.

Kicked off by his stirring instrumental remake of Quincy Jones and Tevin Campbell’s 1989 hit “Tomorrow” which is available at iTunes, MY METAMORPHOSIS queues to demonstrate the work of a seasoned instrumentalist whose talents are bound to no genre or era.

The masterfully woven collection of tunes serve as his first nationally released recording and follow-up to 2007’s critically acclaimed independent album ACE LIVINGSTON PROJECT.

Inscribing yet another column to his already decorated resume, the new album acts as Livingston’s latest showcase after decades of lending his signature style to every genre from R&B and jazz to Contemporary Christian. Additionally, the Jamaican born bassist lists some of today’s top artists as collaborators including Grammy® award winning artists Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Pink, Rachelle Ferrell, and countless others.

“I’ve had the great pleasure of playing with Ace even more powerful than his musical brilliance is his unselfish and shining collaborative nature" states Harry Connick Jr.
